Your loved one’s independence is important to all of us.

Broadmead Care is delighted to offer a wide range of Adult Day Programs that give access to health, social, respite, and recreational services for seniors living in their own homes. For our Second World War and post-war veterans, Veteran’s Health Centre provides services that promote health and independence in a warm, social atmosphere.

These Programs also become a haven for caregivers, providing a precious window of respite where they can catch their breath, regroup, and recharge. Adult Day Programs aren’t just about taking care of the elderly or those with special needs; they’re about taking care of those who give care, stitching moments of peace into the fabric of their demanding routine.

From engaging activities tailored to individual interests to access to healthcare services, Adult Day Programs are beacons of care and companionship. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming space and programs that help people live in their own homes as long as possible.

Testimonials

What Folks are Saying

It is with immense gratitude that I acknowledge the hard work done by Lara, Robyn and Christie in reuniting my parents in the same room at Veterans Memorial Lodge. Their compassion, kindness and perseverance in seeing this through continues to bring me to tears. This is all I wanted for my parents who have been married 67 years. I am greatly comforted by the fact that my parents are well cared for. We are a very small but very tight family. I want what is best for them. And your amazing team keeps making that happen. ~ Tanya
Thank you to your amazing team

Our sweet mother recently passed away at Veterans’ Memorial Lodge. The staff were just so caring and compassionate during her stay. I had the fortune to spend the last two nights with her and I so appreciated the use of the cot and the efforts from the staff to ensure we felt supported and comfortable. Every staff member who entered mom’s room was so kind, gentle and empathetic.

Congratulations to your staff and the leadership of Broadmead Care for offering this specialized care to our elders and their families.

With gratitude from her children

With gratitude …

Thank you so much , and can I have you pass on our thanks from our family. We love the love and care and attention you’ve shown my dad and how you have welcomed us and our extended families. You are an amazing group and we so appreciate everything you do for us and Dad!

Thanks for the care and attention

I visit [her] nearly daily and every time I witness a beautifully run home and the consistently caring acts of kindness and support from all the staff.  These generous people deserve to be noted and I would like to acknowledge everyone who has interacted with us, and also those who work behind the scenes, but that would be a very long list!!  I’ll simply say that we greatly appreciate the facility and the efforts of everyone involved to provide such a wonderful environment for our aging population.  The volunteers and the fellow residents also enhance the quality of life in this home, which reflects the high level of warmth and social support in this community. ~ Family Member

The very best in care

My father was a resident of Rest Haven Lodge since December 2020. We are very pleased to have chosen Rest Haven Lodge as dad’s home for the final stage of his life, and have been extremely impressed with the level of care and support he has received from the care team. The care we experienced at Rest Haven Lodge is among the best we have experienced.

Among the best care we have received

Alex lived at Broadmead Care and he passed away September 18, 2021, following a battle with Parkinson’s Disease. During his stay the care he received from the nursing and care staff was exemplary. They were always so caring and treated Alex with respect. Staff were always there for our family as well, and for that we are grateful. Thank you for everything and we were so fortunate that Alex was able to spend his final days in your amazing Care Home.

Thank you for your loving care

Thank you to all of you amazing people that keep my mother safe and comfortable. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and upkeep of Rest Haven Lodge. YOU ALL ROCK! – Deborah W.

You all rock!

“It is not how much you do, but how much love you put in the doing. We saw this in action … and we are all thankful that [Mom’s] final years were pleasant ones with you.”

On behalf of my father, I want to extend my heart-felt thanks to each and every one of you for your kindness, caring and professionalism over the course of my father’s move into [Beckley Farm Lodge]. From the very first day, my mother and I were so touched at the genuine compassion you all showed and impressed with your competence. We were so worried about this transition, and thanks in large part to each of you it went better than I could have possibly hoped.
