Our purpose is to build communities where people of all ages and abilities can experience wellbeing and happiness. We are grateful to our partners for their assistance in helping us provide programs and services to live our purpose every day.
Key Partners
We are committed to collaborating with government, health care, and community partners to enhance the effectiveness of the services we provide, and to determine how we can best meet future healthcare needs of our community.
We work closely with Island Health to provide high quality and efficient healthcare services for veterans, seniors, and adults with disabilities, on Vancouver Island.
Veterans Affairs Canada funds the Veterans Health Centre and other programs and services that enhance quality of care for veterans. We work closely with them to ensure that the veterans on Vancouver Island who courageously fought for Canada have access to high-quality healthcare services when they need them. There are also 115 beds at Veterans Memorial Lodge reserved for Canadian veterans.
We work closely with BC Housing to provide housing for adults with disabilities at Harriet House and Nigel House. Learn about our New Home for Nigel House campaign.
Broadmead Care is a member of the BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA), the leading industry association for the province’s long-term care sector. This non-profit Society has been serving independent continuing care providers for more than 35 years. Their growing membership base includes more than 140 residential care, assisted living and home care members, as well as more than 135 commercial members across British Columbia.
Community Partners
In addition, we work with many individuals and organizations in the communities in which we live and work. We are grateful to you – individuals, corporations, foundations, veterans groups and other service organizations – who generously support equipment, programs, education, and capital projects that enhance the lives of the people who live with us. So many of our programs depend on your contributions, and we couldn’t live our purpose without you!
