How much does it cost to live in one of your Homes?
The cost of living in long term care at Broadmead Care is determined by a rate set by the Ministry of Health. This rate is based on 80% of the resident’s monthly taxable income as filed on their annual tax return to Revenue Canada. The rate is updated annually based on previous tax information. If taxes are not filed on time, the rate defaults to the maximum amount. If there are any concerns about the ability to pay this rate, people are encouraged to speak with their Social Worker.
