Your generosity has created ripples of kindness that have touched the lives of residents, their families and friends, and our dedicated staff. It’s like dropping a pebble into a pond and watching the waves of positive change extend far beyond the initial splash.
Thanks to your contributions, we’ve been able to enhance quality of life for the people who live in our Homes, providing them with the care, comfort, and companionship they deserve. Your support has not only met their needs but has also created a warm and welcoming environment that feels like home.

- $440,000 for specialty equipment across all Homes 2014-2023
- $403,000 for new furnishings and draperies in resident rooms, 2016-2023
- $104,000 towards Activities and Engaging Programs including Creative Arts, Companionship Care, Spiritual Care, and Music Therapy across all Homes, 2023
- $180,000 for the Serving Smiles campaign at Veterans Memorial Lodge, 2021 – 2023
- $140,000 in support of the Rooted in Care campaign to renovate two of the 9 courtyards at Veterans Memorial Lodge, 2023 *In Progress
- $62,000 towards the Nigel House Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Campaign to fund specialized furnishings and equipment, 2023 *In Progress
- $56,000 towards a New Bus for the residents of Nigel House and Veterans Memorial Lodge, 2023 *In Progress
2023 was a tremendous year for the New Home for Nigel House project!
We owe a huge thank you to our community for providing immense support for the construction of the building, which is currently in progress, with the fourth floor actively being built. The new Nigel House will increase the number of spaces for adults with disabilities from 26 to 41 and will include 10 affordable housing and 37 independent living units. Now the focus has shifted to raising funds for critical furnishings, fixtures and equipment. Specialized furnishings and equipment are fundamental ingredients to create a nurturing environment for young adults with disabilities. Learn more about how you can help bring our building to life!
