Moments you made possible in 2024
We are deeply grateful to be part of such a compassionate community. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the numerous individuals and organizations that consistently support Broadmead Care through their generous donations, sponsorships, and project partnerships. Your unwavering commitment makes our work possible; we couldn’t achieve our mission without you!
The Broadmead Care 2024 Annual Campaign has raised an impressive $401,284 through the generosity of 1,038 donors. These funds will support a variety of initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life for the people who live in our Homes.
Some key areas supported in 2024 include:
Beckley Farm Lodge – Mattresses and Care Foam Chairs: $14,741 was raised to provide essential comfort items for residents.
Veterans Memorial Lodge Courtyard Renovations: $86,488 towards the renovation of the Courtyards at Veterans Memorial Lodge, creating more welcoming and therapeutic outdoor spaces.
Veterans Memorial Lodge Programs: $8,726 towards important programs such as music therapy, spiritual care, and creative arts, enriching residents’ lives and fostering their emotional well-being.
Veterans Memorial Lodge Equipment: $108,628 to fund critical equipment needs, including slings for overhead lifts, call bells, alarm pads, and specialty mattresses to enhance safety and care.
Rest Haven Lodge Third Floor Renovation: $45,359 was raised to support the renovation of the third floor to bring specialized activities for residents living with dementia.
Nigel House Activities and Companions: $9,017 was raised to fund activities and companion services for the people living at Nigel House.
