What does this mean for visiting?
We are pleased that more than 96% of the people who live with us have consented to receive the vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine provides extremely effective protection, and immunization is a valuable tool to prevent transmission of the virus in care homes.
We are eager to reunite you with your loved ones as soon as we possibly can. Until we are advised otherwise, we will continue to follow Provincial Health Officer Guidelines. Meanwhile, we are pleased to continue welcoming you for designated social or essential visits. Please contact your Care Home for more information about booking these visits.
Vaccination is a positive step in the right direction as we move to protect everyone from COVID-19. We hope this will pave a way forward to begin to reunite families with their loved ones, and thank you for your ongoing support.
