We are delighted to let you know that Island Health has confirmed the dates they will be on site at Broadmead Care Homes to administer the second of the two-dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to those residents who consented to receive it.
What you need to know
Below are the dates and times for each Care Home.
- Beckley Farm Lodge – Tuesday, March 2 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm
- Nigel House – Friday, March 5 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm
- Rest Haven Lodge – Friday, March 5 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Veterans Memorial Lodge – Tuesday, March 2 from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

What does this mean for visiting?
We are pleased that more than 96% of the people who live with us have consented to receive the vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine provides extremely effective protection, and immunization is a valuable tool to prevent transmission of the virus in care homes.
We are eager to reunite you with your loved ones as soon as we possibly can. Until we are advised otherwise, we will continue to follow Provincial Health Officer Guidelines. Meanwhile, we are pleased to continue welcoming you for designated social or essential visits. Please contact your Care Home for more information about booking these visits.
