As you are aware, on November 26, 2021, Island Health placed Veterans Memorial Lodge under Enhanced Surveillance Measures in response to a positive COVID-19 test for one Broadmead Care team member.
During the following two weeks all residents were monitored for symptoms twice daily, and enhanced cleaning and COVID-19 protocols were in place. Island Health has now declared that the Enhanced Surveillance is over.
