Dear Family and Friends of Veterans Memorial Lodge,
As you are aware, Island Health placed Veterans Memorial Lodge under Enhanced Surveillance Measures in response to a positive COVID-19 test for one of our team members. I am delighted to let you know that all the test results we have received for residents and staff who were tested and retested are negative. This is great news, and speaks to the way everyone has risen to meet the challenges of the past week and a half. We currently have no active cases of COVID-19 at any of our Care Homes.
We are optimistic that the enhanced surveillance will be declared over by the end of this week.
Thanks to you and to those who live and work with us for your ongoing support and understanding as we continue to do our best to keep everyone at our Care Homes safe.
