Many of us have heard the encouraging news that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has arrived on Vancouver Island, and the Moderna vaccine has been approved for use in Canada. We’re sure you’re all wondering when Broadmead Care residents and staff may receive vaccinations.
At this point, we do not have any definite information from Island Health about a vaccination schedule for your loved ones or our staff. We are staying in touch with Island Health to make sure we know about plans for the people who live and work in our homes. Once we know more, we will share this information with you.
We are thankful for all you are doing to stay vigilant so we can continue to do our best to protect the vulnerable people who live with us, and protect each other. We are also thankful for the way you have supported Broadmead Care during these past ten months, and wish you, your families, and those in your homes and hearts all the best for the holiday season.
