We’re so grateful to the amazing team at CannaConnect for their incredible support of the veterans who call Veterans Memorial Lodge home. Their dedication shines through in everything they do – whether raising crucial funds for Veterans Memorial Lodge, a Broadmead Care Home, or helping to spread the word about Broadmead Care’s programs.
In 2023, CannaConnect chose Veterans Memorial Lodge as their charity partner for the RibFest fundraiser, and in 2024, they added to their support with a summer golf tournament. We’re thrilled to have them on board as sponsors, and as active volunteers for our own Broadmead Care Charity Golf Tournament.
CannaConnect truly believes in the power of community and veterans supporting veterans. Their commitment is clear in the programs they offer, and in their hands-on volunteering – whether they’re supporting fellow veterans one-on-one, or at special events like our Golf Tournament.
A special shout-out to their team for going way above and beyond at this year’s Esquimalt Ribfest, where they rallied donations over three days and even matched every dollar raised, bringing the total to $3,800! This generous gift will directly enhance the quality of life for veterans and seniors at Veterans Memorial Lodge.
