Finding beauty in renovations: a revelation!
As we hammer the last nail in our courtyard renovations, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous donations. More than $374,000 has been raised to date towards the Rooted in Care campaign, and we are thrilled to announce the completion of the woodwork! This crucial milestone marks the beginning of a vibrant transformation for outdoor spaces at Veterans Memorial Lodge.
Next on the agenda is applying the final ‘brush strokes’ to our courtyards by fixing concrete surfaces, planting drought-resistant plants, and installing inviting shade areas. These enhancements will beautify the courtyards and create safe welcoming environments where everyone can gather, relax, and enjoy nature together. None of this would be possible without donors like you and the amazing support of wonderful community partners.
