In order to keep our grounds as safe as possible, the parking lot at Veterans Memorial Lodge is scheduled for repairs beginning Monday, June 7, 2021 at 8:00 am. Work will continue through Thursday, June 10, 2021.
This will include areas in visitor parking, including:
- The handicapped parking spot by the VHC entrance
- The catch basin drain by the roundabout
- The curb by the roundabout
- The catch basin drain by the Visitors parking spots
- Visitor parking spots on the driveway
Please see the attached diagram for your convenience, with the affected spots highlighted in yellow. (Affected staff parking spots are also shown.) Parking spaces will be limited during this time, but you may be able to park on Royal Oak Drive or Chatterton Way. Â
Please note that access to the front entrance will not be affected. Drop off and pick up for the Adult Day Program, Veterans Health Centre, and residents who are going to or returning from visits will be available.
