Dear Family & Friends,
We hope you and your families are well, and enjoying our beautiful West Coast Spring weather.
This week, we have a slightly different update for you. Thanks to the efforts of staff and with your support, our Care Homes continue to be COVID-19 free! While we really don’t have anything new to tell you, we do want to extend an invitation to you to participate in our Family & Friends mini-survey. By completing the survey, you’ll provide valuable feedback about Broadmead Care, our services, and our new website. Please note: clicking the survey link will take you away from the Broadmead Care website, to the SurveyMonkey site.
We also invite you to consider participating with us as a Family / Friend Advisor. As an Advisor, you can work with us to provide insight and expertise in a variety of areas that will help us advance The Broadmead Way in all our Care Homes. If you’re interested in volunteering in this way, please complete question 9 on the survey.
You may also have heard about potential changes to physical distancing requirements, with the potential for our communities and businesses to ease restrictions and open up a bit more. While some changes are being effected, at this time there is no change to our visitation or gift protocols. Broadmead Care Homes will continue to operate as we have been. This means visitors will continue to be restricted to essential visitors, and similar restrictions on goods brought to our Care Homes (with the exception of Mother’s Day, as described in last week’s update). We continue to be diligent with staff screening and in the past week, added a temperature check as part of our pre-shift protocol.
We thank you for your ongoing support, messages of love and friendship, and partnership as we work diligently to keep COVID-19 out of our Care Homes.
