Dear Family and Friends of Veterans Memorial Lodge,
A few weeks ago we wrote to you about the repairs and modernization of the elevators at Veterans Memorial Lodge.
We’re pleased to let you know that the Otis Technicians are making final adjustments on the passenger elevator that has been out of service. Inspection of this elevator is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, after which we anticipate both passenger elevators will be in service. As of July 6, you may use the passenger elevators to visit your loved ones, rather than the stairs.
We also anticipate the Service elevator to be inspected and operational in early August.
We are grateful for your patience and understanding as the elevator crew has worked diligently to complete these repairs and upgrades.
