We are delighted to let you know that the Provincial Health Office (PHO) has announced an important change to visiting our Care Homes.
Family members, friends, and other visitors who meet screening criteria will once again be able to attend gatherings at our Care Homes.
Visitors must continue to:
- Provide proof of vaccination
- Complete a COVID 19 rapid test within the past 48 hours
- Complete screening for symptoms, including temperature check
- Wear a medical grade mask while in the Care Home
- Continue to practice good hand hygiene and appropriate cough/sneeze etiquette.
We are so pleased, because this means you will be able to join your loved ones for Remembrance Day ceremonies this Friday, November 11. Please refer to our recent News post for information about ceremonies at Veterans Memorial Lodge, and check with Reception at Beckley Farm Lodge, Nigel House, and Rest Haven Lodge for information about their programs for Remembrance Day.
At the same time, the PHO has reiterated that requirements for visitors to provide proof of vaccination and undergoing rapid testing will continue through this current respiratory season. This is for the safety and protection of the people who live and work with Broadmead Care.
Thank you for your continued support, and – welcome back!
