It’s Fall in Victoria, and with that in mind, we would like to provide some information about COVID-19 booster shots for people who live in long term care homes, and about the upcoming flu season.
COVID-19 Booster Shots
You may have heard in the news that the province is preparing to offer COVID-19 booster shots for residents of long term care homes. We don’t yet have specific details about when this will happen. We are preparing for the booster shots, and will keep you informed as we know more. At this time, booster shots will not be offered for staff, volunteers, or visitors.
Flu Season
We continue to work diligently to protect your loved ones, and this includes being prepared for flu season. This year, it is especially important to keep our community of care as healthy as possible. Hand washing, coughing and sneezing into a tissue or the bend of your arm, wearing a mask, and staying home if you have symptoms will help us keep everyone as safe as possible.

As always, we are grateful for your support, and thank you for the many ways you help us care for your loved ones.
