It’s the morning of Sunday, October 9, 2022 … alarm clocks are set for the crack of dawn and running shoes get tied up tight. Thousands of people head to downtown Victoria for the Royal Victoria Marathon’s 31st event — including a team of dedicated Broadmead Care volunteers ready to take over one of the busiest water stations on the route. We are so pleased to report the day was a great success!
You couldn’t miss Broadmead Care’s team of bright shirts and big smiles as they cheered on everyone who passed by. Water and electrolytes were in endless supply and our volunteers ensured everyone was refreshed and ready to complete the final 5KM to the finish line.
We owe a HUGE THANK YOU to the volunteers who took time out of their busy Thanksgiving long weekend to join us for this memorable day. Way to go team, thank you all for an amazing day!
