It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Coldwell (née Pearson) at the age of 93, on November 13, 2024. Born and raised in Sidney BC, Agnes was a well-known and well-loved member of the community. She married George Coldwell in 1954 and travelled many years with her family before settling back in Sidney in the early 1970s. She was a great softball pitcher in her youth and continued to play slow-pitch well into her 70s. She also loved 5-pin bowling and playing bingo.
Her final years were spent at Veterans Memorial Lodge in Victoria, where she was loved by residents and staff alike. She was predeceased by her husband George in 2015. She is survived by her brother Ron (Dorothy); her children Rob (Tina), Sandra (Rob), Daryl (Michi), and Barbara (Alan); 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
