Broadmead Care is committed to seeking opportunities to collaborate with government, health care and community partners to enhance the effectiveness of the services we provide and to determine how we can best meet the future health care needs of our community.

vancouver island health authorityWe work in partnership with the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) – the primary funder for 225 beds at The Lodge at Broadmead. We maintain close communications with VIHA to help ensure we are providing seamless and efficient health care services.

veterans affairs canadaWe are very proud of our partnership with Veterans Affairs Canada, which funds the Veterans Health Centre, Dementia Care Program and a number of additional programs that enhance the quality of care for Veterans.  We work very closely with Veterans Affairs Canada to ensure that the Veterans on Vancouver Island who courageously fought for Canada, have access to high quality health care services when they need them.

The Broadmead Care Society is generously supported by many Veterans’ organizations and individual donors, who share our commitment to excellence in care.

As a result of adding the Nigel Program for Adults with Disabilities, we also work closely with BC Housing who provide housing subsidies for Nigel clients living at Harriet and Nigel House sites.

We are very grateful for our many partnerings with Veterans and Community Agencies and the many individuals donors who support our programs and services.
