“Aspiring to excellence in care” requires effective leadership. That’s why maintaining a strong Board has been such a priority for the Broadmead Care Society.

We have established a skills profile that allows us to actively recruit new Board members while maintaining the competencies and stakeholder representation we need for strong, effective governance.

Our Board of Directors provides leadership, support and accountability for all Society operations; monitors quality of care; formulates and reviews our Constitution and Bylaws; and establishes the mission, values, visions and strategic direction of our organization. We have an active committee structure – with specific Work Plans and measurable objectives aligned to our Strategic Plan.

The Board has an ongoing commitment to assure a close working relationship with all levels of government, the management of The Lodge and members of the community.
