Hourly Wage: $21.69 – 24.54

Location: Rest Haven Lodge

Closing Date:  April 27, 2018

Schedule: 4 on; 2 off, 3:00 – 10:00

DUTIES

Under supervision, to carry out duties related to the day-to-day care residents. Duties include: carrying out routine tasks related to the personal care of residents, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, bed-making; carrying out basic charting and maintaining other record keeping systems; participating in the development and maintenance of care plans; assisting residents in activities of daily living; participating in activities and programs to enhance the social, recreational, mental and physical functioning of residents; performing other related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary school graduation or equivalent; completion of appropriate courses in resident care preferred; preferably one year’s experience in a similar facility; good judgment; reliability and consistent ability to attend work; some record keeping ability; good observational skills; physical ability to perform the duties; ability to establish good relationships with residents, staff and the general public; ability to participate in a team approach to health care.

Must be eligible to work with vulnerable adults, under the BC Criminal Record Review program

TB Screen dated within the last 12 months
