If you’ve been inside Veterans Memorial Lodge lately, you might have noticed fresh colours and bright common areas.
With your help, over the past few years we’ve been busy renovating, painting, and generally sprucing up common areas and resident rooms at Veterans Memorial Lodge.
Now we’re putting the finishing touches to these amazing spaces. It’s the ‘Home stretch’! One of the last things we do when we renovate is re-hang the pictures …
Our Creative Arts department has created a fantastic way to brighten the hallways, and create an even cheerier environment.
Their idea is to install murals, historical images, shadow boxes, and other three-dimension items in hallways. These items will represent the history and lives of the people who live here.
Residents and staff will work together to create these works of art, bringing purpose and joy to all involved.
