We’re on a mission and you can help !
Ellie lives on the third floor at the Lodge. Like most who live on the third floor, she has a form of dementia, and is in a wheelchair full time. She’d like to participate in activities regularly. But we just don’t have enough staff to help her — or any of the other 36 third-floor residents — travel down to the activities area on the main floor daily. We do help them join as often as we can, but it depends on having staff available to help.
So now we’re on a mission to bring activities to Ellie, right where she lives, and you can help! Will you make a gift today to help us raise $14,933 to bring activities to the third floor of Rest Haven Lodge?
Your donation will create usable space in the third-floor dining area by helping to fund new tables. The current ones are heavy and awkward for staff to move out of the way. The new ones will be easy to move aside for activities.
Your gift today will also help build stations for creative arts, and create spaces where people can listen to music, watch TV, or spend time with family and friends.
