We are writing to you today with the happy news that the outbreaks at Veterans Memorial Lodge (Lodge B2) and Rest Haven Lodge (second floor) have now officially been declared over by Island Health.
We appreciate all the ways you have supported us during these past few weeks. We are thankful for the resilience of those affected by the outbreaks, and for the compassion and dedication of the staff members who looked after your loved ones.
We also want to thank those of you who sent messages of support to our staff through the Keep Connected page. We shared all your encouraging messages with them, and know they gladdened their hearts.
While none of us can predict what the future holds for COVID-19 and its variants, we do know that together, as a community of care, we will continue to do all we can to keep safe the people who live and work at Broadmead Care Homes. We will continue to update the COVID-19 Care Home Status web page as needed, and will communicate with you by email when there is information to share.
