Help us take the first step to make Nigel House a better home. Together we can create a home for those who live at Nigel House that will give them the comfort, dignity and care they need to live their lives to the fullest. As part of the overall Nigel Valley Master Plan, Nigel House will be one of the first projects of the Nigel Valley Master Plan to be developed. The total cost to build the new, expanded Nigel House is $37 million. Broadmead Care Society is providing $6 million and has launched a $3 million campaign to build a new home for Nigel House. Donations to the campaign will count towards a $150,000 matching gift challenge, thanks to the JAYMAC Fund through the Victoria Foundation.

“People here have had hard lives. They’ve had the deck stacked against them. More than anything, that would be a good reason to help — because they haven’t had easy lives and it’s no fault of their own.”

Rob Richter, Recreation Therapist at Nigel House for 20 Years
