We know how much work it takes to raise funds for a cause you are passionate about. That is why we want to say thank you with special prizes to keep you motivated.

Broadmead Care’s Kms4Care event is all about letting you do it your way. You can raise funds to support one or all five of our care homes. Learn more about our Care Homes on our website.

The money you raise through this event will help fund important programs and services not fully covered by Government funding. Together, we can ensure the people who live at Broadmead Care can live as fully and completely as possible.

  • Raise your first $150 – receive a Kms4Care T-Shirt or Camel Back Water Bottle*
  • Raise $250 – receive a $25 Gift Card*
  • Raise $500 – receive a $50 Gift Card*
  • Raise $1000 – receive a $100 Gift Card*

    *Prizes available while quantities last. Gift Cards will support local businesses around Victoria BC.
    *Gift cards will be awarded based on your total amount raised at month end.
    *T-shirts & water bottles will be awarded only one time, once you raise $150.

Fundraising Resources

As part of your registration process, you have already set up the basics of your fundraising page. There are a lot of great ways to customize your page to help connect with your supporters.

  • Create a photo gallery of each week’s successes. Maybe it’s photos of you and your furry walking partner, your kids, or both!
  • Add videos of your accomplishments using free programs such as YouTube.
  • Increase your fundraising goal. You can do this as often as you want.
  • Share your fundraising page through social media and your personal contacts.
  • Send personal notes of thanks to family and friends who have supported you.
