Donating to Broadmead Care

Providing 24-hour care for hundreds of veterans, seniors and adults with disabilities every day requires community support. Government funds cover the basics, but extras like overhead lifts, beds, mattresses, creative arts, music programs, spiritual care and gardens only happen if people donate. Broadmead Care is a registered charity #12929 0383 RR0001 and all donations are eligible for a tax receipt.

Volunteering at Broadmead Care

Volunteers play a vital role in making every moment matter for Broadmead Care residents and clients. We are grateful to the 175 volunteers who share approximately 900 hours of their time each month assisting staff to maintain an environment that supports retained abilities, celebrates successes, fosters hope, and promotes social involvement.

$100,000 Matching Gift Campaign

Thanks to the amazing support of our donors Rudi's $100,000 Matching Gift Campaign is now full!

We are very grateful to each donor who helped make this such a successful campaign and of course Rudi who has been such an amazing friend to all of the Veterans, seniors, staff and volunteers at Broadmead Care. Thank you Rudi!

Money raised from this campaign will help Make Every Moment Matter for our residents, from the purchase of new equipment and furnishings, supporting our programs like music and memory, creative arts and spiritual services, as well as the extras in life that most of us take for granted.

This matching campaign was a big step towards reaching our fundraising goals for this fiscal year, but we still have much more to go. 2018 will see more opportunities to support Broadmead Care and work towards our vision by creating care communities in which we celebrate the lives of seniors, honour the service of veterans, and embrace the life ambitions of adults living with disabilities.
