Gifts of Cash
Your cheque, credit card donation or gift of cash goes to work right away providing comfort, dignity and enjoyment to veterans, seniors and adults with physical challenges. You can make a one-time gift or pledge to give every month or every year. Each gift helps and is greatly appreciated.
In-Honour Gifts
You can honor someone special by making a tribute gift in their name. Download our In-honour brochure to find out more.
Memorial Gifts
You can honor the memory of a loved one by making a memorial donation. Your gift will help ensure your treasured memory becomes a lasting legacy of comfort in your loved one's name. Download our Memorial Gift brochure to find out more.
Buy a Brick
You can have the name of your choice engraved on a brick at the Broadmead Care Wall of Honour. Or, you may choose to engrave a special message or honour someone special with one of these lasting tributes. All donors who make a donation of $100 or more (for individuals) or $250 or more (for organizations) can have their name placed on a brick. Donations received in our Buy-a-brick Campaign are put to work delivering music recreation and therapy, resident activities and events. Order a brick now!
Participation in Special Events
Every year, we host several fundraising special events to benefit our residents and seniors. You can attend these events, give gifts for our silent auction or become a sponsor. Call the Foundation for more information.
Gifts of Publicly-Traded Stock
This is a tax-smart way to donate. Donations of publicly-listed securities are exempt from capital gains tax. Plus, you will receive a tax receipt for the value of the shares based on the closing price of the day they are received into the Broadmead Care account. Please call the Foundation office at 250-658-3226 to learn about how to donate shares.
Gifts in Kind
Please contact us if you would like to donate an in-kind gift.
