Information for Veterans

The Lodge at Broadmead provides "Priority Access Beds" for eligible war service Veterans and certain civilians who are eligible due to their wartime service. Canadian Forces pensioners may qualify to receive long term care in a provincially funded bed if the need for this care is related to a pensioned condition.  Allied Veterans who have lived in Canada for 10 or more years after their period of service may be eligible for long-term care in a provincially funded bed. Contact Veterans Affairs Canada to confirm whether you are eligible for a "Priority Access Bed" or community bed.
