How to donate

Contributions That  Help  in  the  Future

Mention us in your will
A gift left in your will is also known as a bequest. It can be a cash donation or a gift of property. Bequests help offset your taxes and you can make changes to your will at any time.

Retirement Gifts
Donating retirement funds such as RRSP’s or RRIF’s can result in significant tax savings to your estate and give you a charitable tax receipt for the full market value of the plan.

Life Insurance
You can donate a "paid up" policy to the Foundation and receive a tax receipt for the cash "pay-out" value. Name the Foundation as the owner and beneficiary of a new policy and receive tax receipts for every premium you pay.

We issue tax receipts for all cash donations, and for the fair market value for items such as property, stocks or gifts in kind.  Copies of our annual reports and financial information are available at the Foundation office.
