We are a large employer, with approximately 350 employees. There are frequent opportunities for career advancement leading to full time employment.

We have achieved a significant incremental increase in the hours of direct care per resident and will continue to work towards increased hours of direct care to benefit both residents and staff. 

We value and invest in ongoing training and learning for our employees.  New employees normally attend a 2-day dementia-care program during the early stages of employment. Beginning in the fall of 2007, all existing and new staff will begin to receive a 2-day training program in End of Life Care. 

We have set aside a dedicated training budget, and staff can apply for funding to support personal training and education related to their career.
