Volunteers play a vital role in making every moment matter for Broadmead Care residents and clients. We are grateful to the 175 volunteers who share approximately 900 hours of their time each month working alongside staff to maintain an environment that supports retained abilities, celebrates successes, fosters hope, and promotes social involvement.
Broadmead Care engages volunteers who reflect the diversity of our community. We work with volunteers to make your experience as rewarding for you as it is for our veterans, residents and clients.
We know how busy people's lives can be and strive to be as flexible and accommodating as possible with your schedule and personal goals.
Broadmead Care provides opportunities for:
- Busy families, friends and community groups to spend time together in community service close to home (many residents appreciate visits with children)
- Young people to gain valuable work experience and develop a lifelong value of volunteerism and community service
- Retirees with a lifetime of skills, unique experience and new-found time to share
- People of all backgrounds who share our organization’s values and believe they have something to contribute to enrich the lives of others.
