Every lodge includes a dining room, specialized bathing room and access to a courtyard garden or patio. Residents pay a monthly fee that is based on income according to a fee structure set by the British Columbia Ministry of Health. The fee covers accommodation, basic supplies and equipment, and meals. Some services - such as cable television and hairdressing - are provided on a fee-for-service basis.
Most prescribed medications are covered under Pharmacare and are provided at no cost. Residents pay for medications not covered by Pharmacare. Veterans may receive additional funding through Veterans Affairs Canada for some services, equipment and supplies. Residents are informed about all fees and costs when an offer of admission is made.
